The Best Food Ever!
We grow amazing produce. The best tasting varieties, in
amazing soil. If you would like to meet us, or buy some
produce we are available at-
- Farmers Markets- We are available at several
farmers markets in the area (check the what's fresh
link for more info)
- Through our CSA- If you are in an area in which
we deliver, we will bring our great produce to you.
Otherwise there are several area Farmers Markets
from which you can pick up your share. Delivery
is available in the I-5 corridor from Chehalis, WA
to Seattle.
Our CSA (community supported agriculture)
We would love to have you join our CSA! It will be restarting in March and will hopefully
continue year round from now on. There are many crops that we just don't have enough of to
take to market that we are growing exclusively for our CSA members.
Our CSA is our priority. Those that commit to our food community are the life-blood of the
farm.
Joining our CSA is a great way to have a direct relationship with a farm, have an abundance
of fresh produce, and learn to eat within the seasons. As well as contribute to the local
economy, local agriculture, bio-region sustainability, and your own personal health and
well-being. All of the food in our boxes is grown personally by us at our farm, so you always
know where and by whom your food is being grown.
Happy 2010!
It has been a while since the last update, looking forward
to a great 2010 !
The past year has been more difficult than expected, as the
first year in a new location often is. This will be our second
year here, and I am happy to say we are starting the year
ahead. We plan to be returning to markets and restarting the
CSA in March.
Our plans for this year include-
* a greater variety of greens, we are adding 9+ varieties of
Asian and Western Greens, and will have a broad variety year
round in the future
* Sprouts- we will be adding the production of several
varieties of sprouts this year :)
YAY to a new well pump. The drought this past year was a
major issue for our farm, we now have a much larger well
pump, and are expanding our irrigation system to prepare for
better production this year.
